Common Culprits

Black Mold:

• Stachybotrus - this dark slow growing fungus produces mycotoxins that can be deleterious to human and animal health. Most commonly found in areas affected by prolonged periods of heavy moisture on porous materials that trap organic matter and moisture it uses as food sources. Growth usually follows that of other allergenic mold colonization.

Allergens:

• Rhizopus - a
